Dreux 113/3 in 7.2 overs Hamza Niaz 54*(20) | William Singh 2/27 Muhammad Rafah 29 (15) | Tahseenullah Safi 1/16
Dreux miss out on the bonus point by just two balls in the end but regardless of that it has been a comprehensive performance from them with the bat. They were clumsy in the field but showed their class with the batting as Hamza Niaz saw them through to an easy 7 wicket win with 16 balls to spare.
Dreux lost two wickets in the very first over of the innings but they didn't look behind from there onwards. Niaz and Rafah went berserk in the middle overs as they snatched the momentum from Paris Universite bowlers who erred in line way too much. In the end, Usman Khan also made a strong contribution as he scored 19 runs from just 5 balls.
Skipper William Singh started off with two wickets but he tapered off as he conceded 21 runs from his second over. The same thing could be said about Safi, the only other wicket taker in the innings. The likes of veteran Sher Afridi and Zika Ali, the leg spinner were also taken to the cleaners.
Dreux win by 7 wickets and 16 balls to spare!
7.2 Tahseenullah Safi to Usman Khan, SIX! AND THAT DOES IT FOR DREUX! THEY WIN THIS QUITE COMFORTABLY! Length ball on the pads. Hoicked over the deep mid-wicket area on the up and the ball stays hit!
7.1 Tahseenullah Safi to Hamza Niaz, full on leg-and-middle. Driven down to long-off on the up off the leading edge for a single.
Dreux do get the massive over as Sher Afridi is smashed all over the park but they won't get the bonus point! Usman Khan ended the over with three consecutive boundaries and Dreux need just five more to win the game.
