Match summary:
Warriors win by 7 wickets
Kemar Smith 20*(7) | Zishan Motara 3/17 (2) Jonathan Drakes 22(16) | Jamar Ifil 1/5 (1)
The Pelicans bowlers didn't help themselves with all the additional runs early on - there were far too many for their liking. A total of 13 extras eventually - 9 of them coming in the first over itself. While Zidan Harewood and Yvan Grant couldn't get off to a flourishing start, skipper Jonathan Carter came in and provided his side with some much-needed impetus going into the mid-way point in the innings.
Kemar Smith replaced Carter and picked up from where his skipper left. The right-hander was vicious against spin, whipping anything that was strayed onto his pads. Grant resorted to playing second fiddle at the other end. The equation was just over a run-a-ball when the players had to rush off as the rain began pelting down at the Desmond Haynes Oval.
We still don't have a winner, but given they are ahead of where the Pelicans were at this stage of the innings, you can't help but feel that the Warriors have clinched this one. Ah, we do have an update - the Warriors won on a faster scoring rate. There you go - a second win for the Warriors in as many days!
There seems to be no update from the venue... the stream for the game has come to an end as well. The match might have been called off, but the result hasn't been declared yet.
Ah well, the inevitable happens. The ground-staff sprint onto the middle as the rain begins to pour at Bridgetown. The players head off the park.
6.2 Chemar Holder to Yvan Grant, banged in short, Grant has to sway away from the line of the ball
6.1 Chemar Holder to Kemar Smith, full, on the pads, Kemar fails to get bat on it. Leg bye taken to Carlos Brathwaite towards short fine
Chemar Holder (1-0-10-0) is back into the attack
Just over a run-a-ball needed for the Warriors. Kemar Smith has truly showed up for them today - he's hit some brutal ones!
