That brings us to the end of this T0 encounter. Prague CC continues to enthrall the fans and have remained unbeaten in the tournament so far. Cricketing action continues with several matches lined up in the next few hours but for now this is myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off also on behalf of my fellow commentator and good mate Bidipto. Cheers!
Prague CC won by 8 wickets (with 20 deliveries to spare)
The Prague CC made light work of the target of 88 and managed to reach the target with consummate ease in the end. They won by 8 wickets 20 deliveries to spare and it was the duo of Sudesh Wickramasekara and Sabawoon Davizi who sealed the deal for them. The target of 88 was never really gonna challenge Prague CC but the likes of Premprakash Yadav and Ajhar Alam started brilliantly by conceding just 6 runs in the first two overs.
It was Ritik Tomar who turned it around in the 3rd over, smashing three sixes and a four to take the score to 30 at the end of the powerplay. Following the departure of the two openers, it was Wickramasekara and Davizi who took the onus on themselves to play the big shot. It was carnage on display from the two as boundaries kept flowing one after the other.
Sixes galore as Wickramasekara remained unbeaten on 33 off 10 deliveries which included 3 fours and as many sixes. Davizi also chipped in with a 9 ball 25 which included 6 fours, ensuring that they reach the target inside the 7th over. Sharif Aktaruzzaman was the only wicket-taker for the Prague Tigers, bagging a couple.
6.4 Ajhar Alam to Sabawoon Davizi, FOUR RUNS TO END THE GAME! PRAGUE CC WIN COMFORTABLY! Good length ball outside off-stump. Driven square and on the up through cover point for a stylish boundary!
6.3 Ajhar Alam to Sabawoon Davizi, full on middle-and-off. Knocked back to the bowler out of the block hole, no run.
6.2 Ajhar Alam to Sudesh Wickramasekara, good length ball on off-stump. Thumped down to long-on from the back foot again for a single only.
6.1 Ajhar Alam to Sudesh Wickramasekara, FOUR RUNS! Full toss around off-stump. Clubbed around to wide long-on on one bounce and through the hands of the fielder for a boundary!
Ajhar Alam [1-0-2-0] is back into the attack.
That's the 6th over done and dusted and Prague CC are just moments away from registering a comfortable victory. Wickramasekara and Davizi has both looked in great touch and it was the latter who found 4 boundaries in that over.
