Conditions are really dry. 62 and 60 meters as far as the square boundaries are concerned, and a lot hit is 78 down the ground. Not much at this particular ground, that, because of the altitude. Generally a good wicket here. 15.66 sixes per game here. 219 at the SA20 happened here. Chasing is better, Kyle Verreynne made the right choice. Spikes go in the ground, it's a little bit soft at the bottom, might be a bit two-paced. The minute the lights come on it'll play better - will be easier to bat and hard to defend. Cross-bat shots are hard in the afternoon, hitting the top of the stumps here works, making the batters play. Consistency on top of off is important. 213 was chased down here. Get a base batting first in the first 8 overs, the sun starts going down in the last 12 overs and the batting team can then cash and put pressure on the chasing team. Tricky to chase if it's a solid total. Use the mystery spinners in the chase, reports Mpumelelo Mbangwa, AB de Villiers and Chris Morris.

Kyle Verreynne, Pretoria Capitals captain: Very happy. It's been a tough couple days, excited to take the bonus point. We were nice and clinical with the ball and we pressed with that. With the bat, we lost a couple wickets but the guys finished it well. Felt like a whole team performance, and that's what's most pleasing going into the last two games. We've only played two games at home so far, made a few changes, nice to get some fresh faces in, that brought some extra energy and fight we were lacking. I love it (captaincy) done it domestically. Great opportunity, great tournament to do it in. So far so good. I'm 50-50 (DRS calls) academics will tell you that is a pass. Firstly how proud I am of them today, there's two games left but in theory could be five. Just about keeping that in mind. Need to make sure we don't switch off and continue to do that. Stress on having fun out there, that's got to be the key the last couple of games.

Faf du Plessis, Joburg Super Kings captain: Frustrating day for us. One of those days where plenty went wrong for us. There have been a few of those games this SA20, teams batting first expecting to get a big score, almost bundled out for 100-120, team coming in second making it quite easily. (On the pitch) Strange one for me, it looked really good when we were standing at the coin toss, but after facing a couple of balls, played a lot of games here, but the first ball of the off-spinner turning and bouncing... seemed a really dry surface. The nature with the night games at SuperSport - the ball skids on a bit more. Need to be in the mark around 140 to give yourself a chance. We didn't give ourselves that. Combination of teams not knuckling down and trying to get to 140 - you feel like you need to get to 180. The pitches have been a little different. The bowlers will be happy, the batters need to adjust. There's been a lot of bonus points, as teams you need to be more competitive. We've batted well on that, 140, could have given ourselves a chance. Make sure you come and fight the next game, the nature of the competition luckily is so that we need one win out of the next two. We have two games at home, been really good at home, the form at home is something we can fall back to. Today was disappointing.

Migael Pretorius (POTM): It was good. We obviously had a lot of changes. Everyone came together and did well. I think it's the first time I haven't bowled in the powerplay. Gave me sometime to relax and think a bit. I think we try and simplify things. Bowling to stumps is the plan. It's good to keep it simple but we have strategies for every batter. The clean bowled to Jonny Bairstow was my favorite wicket today.

In spite of losing wickets in the powerplay, the Capitals hardly seemed flustered. That had to do with the start that they had - Will Jacks smashed a couple of big blows in the first over and a half to go along with some aggressive running. Jacks perished off the last ball of the second over, nicking behind, Kyle Verreynne joined Smeed and kept at it with some deft stroke-play.

Smeed wasn't able to get going - in trying to jab a hard length delivery past cover, Smeed was held by Ferreira at cover off Viljoen. Marques Ackerman came in and showed his stroke-play acumen - the 28-year-old left-hander was handed a couple of reprieves over the course of his innings, the first time being 2 balls into his innings, and he sure made the most of it.

The Capitals ended the powerplay having lost three wickets for 51 runs, but there was to be no way back for their opponents. Ackerman made doubly sure of that - he took 11 off Matheesha Pathirana's first over - the 8th of the innings. He couldn't finish the game off, picking Viljoen out at deep square off Sipamla, but the Capitals were home and dry with eight overs to spare. Presentations coming up in a bit...

11.6 Matheesha Pathirana to Kegan Lion Cachet, FOUR!!! Pretoria Capitals win by six wickets. A juicy full toss on the stumps, Kegan smacks it nicely in the gap to deep mid wicket for a boundary. Pretoria Capitals collect a much needed bonus point as well with this win.

11.4 Matheesha Pathirana to Kegan Lion Cachet, a brilliant yorker on the leg stump, Kegan gets hit on the back pad. A huge appeal for LBW but the umpire denies. JSK have reviewed it.

The ultra edge confirms no bat involved. The ball tracking shows that the impact was umpire's call and the ball was missing the leg stump as well. The decision stays NOT OUT!
