We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this ECS Barcelona T10 game between Raval Sporting and the Catalunya Tigers. This is Soumarya Dutta, signing off, on behalf of my partner Raghav. See you soon!
This has been an emphatic victory for the Catalunya Tigers! They batted first and put up a formidable 130 on the board. Raval Sporting fell well short in response as they folded up for less than 100. Their innings never got going as they lost three wickets inside the powerplay and were reeling at 26/4. Unnatkumar Patel and Kishitij Patel, did get a partnership going and managed to get the total to some respectability. But in the end 130 was too steep a target for them to chase and they ended up with 85/7 in 10 overs.
The Tigers bowlers were outstanding with the ball. Umer Mughal starred with the ball for them as he picked up 3/8 and rattled the Raval Sporting top order. Once that happened, Raval, were never really in the game. Other bowlers chipped in too. Ghulam, Yasir, Taimur and Qasim all ended up with a wicket apiece.
Overall, the Catalunya Tigers have won yet another match here and they are carrying on with their fantastic form in this tournament. For the Raval Sporting, well they started off the tournament really well, but they fell apart in the later stages and they will have a lot of introspection to do.
