What a convincing nine-wicket victory in the end for Sporting Alfas who win the Group E final and advance to the Championship weekend. The bowlers set up the victory as they restricted Roma CC to a mere 76. The Alfas openers, Awais Ahmed and Garry Park came out with good intent for the chase. Park, in particular, took advantage of the Powerplay and he ended up with an impressive 24 off just 10 balls.
Alfas didn't stumble after the first wicket as Awais took the aggressor role while Dannyjo Cox rotated the strike to ensure the scorecard kept ticking. In the end, Awais struck a boundary to ensure that Alfas crossed the mark with 13 balls to spare!
