So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj and my co-commentator, Maanas Upadhyay. Do stay tuned to Sportskeeda and switch over to the coverage of the 3rd Ashes Test. There is also the second ODI between Bangladesh and Afghanistan going on currently while ECS Hungary will continue as usual. Enjoy all these matches while I take leave!
MATCH OVER!
Blinders Blizzards won by 15 runs!
Blinders Blizzards 116/6 (10) Royal Eagles 101/4 (10)
Avinash Puthran 40 (28) | Sheraz Dilbar 37* (13)
Omer Zahid 2-0-18-2 | Pranav Vashi 2-0-17-1
A comfortable 15-run win for Blinders Blizzards in the end as they register the first victory of this tournament. Reza Arif went for a few in the final over but the match was done by then. Chasing 117 for victory, Shubham Dhari and Avinash Puthran got off to a decent start as they reached 52/0 at the half-way mark.
However, Pranav Vashi came in and dismissed Dhari in a sixth over which fetched just three runs. Thereafter, Blizzards continued to squeeze Royal Eagles with Avinash also being run-out at the end of the eighth over. Omer Zahid added to the Eagles' misery as he took two wickets in an exceptional penultimate over. This meant that the Eagles needed an unlikely 36 off the last six balls. Sheraz Dilbar provided some entertainment with a few big hits in the final over but the Eagles were always going to fall short!

9.6 Reza Arif to Sheraz Dilbar, SIX! BANG! A six to finish but it will not matter. Short and on the middle stump line, Dilbar pulls that away dismissively over the mid-wicket region for a maximum and without any emotions walks off the pitch. Oh if only he could've gotten a bit more strike! Blinders Blizzards have gotten their first win in the tournament!
9.5 Reza Arif to Sheraz Dilbar, FOUR! SHOT! Back of a length ball on the middle stump line, Dilbar pulls that into the gap at mid-wicket. Collects a nice boundary!
9.4 Reza Arif to Sheraz Dilbar, length ball outside off, Dilbar swings hard at that but fails to make any connection.
9.3 Reza Arif to Sheraz Dilbar, FOUR! Short of a length and outside off, Dilbar swings hard but gets a top-edge over the short third man fielder and away to the boundary rope!
9.2 Reza Arif to Sheraz Dilbar, SIX! BANG! Short and on the middle stump line, Dilbar rocks onto the back-foot and pulls that handsomely over the mid-wicket region for a huge maximum!
9.1 Reza Arif to Sheraz Dilbar, short and outside off, slapped over the bowler's head. Dilbar denies the single.
