It turned out to be a close contest between Marsa and the Royal Strikers but in the end it was the latter who held their nerves and won it by 9 runs. The run chase was always going to be a tricky one for Marsa. Fanyan Majeed and Noman Mehar started the innings and the latter was dismissed pretty early Pushparajan. Majeed and Muhammad Suleman starter the resurrection job and smashed some brilliant shots in the process.
Majeed scored a 32 ball 69 and was the lone warrior for them in their attempt to chase the target down. He smashed a couple of fours and as many as 8 sixes to keep them in fray but he kept losing his partners at the other end and none of the batters could provide him some support. After Suleman's departure, it was all down to Majeed to take them over the finish line. He tried valiantly but in the end, fell short by 9 runs. Rubin James was the pick of the bowlers with a couple to his name.

9.6 Rubin James to Faisal Bin Mahrose, WICKET!
9.5 Rubin James to Faisal Bin Mahrose, SIX! Slams this length delivery a tad outside off well over the deep midwicket fence.
9.4 Rubin James to Fanyan Majeed, WICKET! That was a length delivery outside off and Majeed tries to swipe it across the line, more of a toppish edge that carries all the way to the deep midwicket fielder.
9.3 Priyan Pushparajan to Fanyan Majeed, a low full toss outside off, swung away towards midwicket and refuses the single.
9.2 Priyan Pushparajan to Fanyan Majeed, SIX! Another slog across the line. On a length around middle and that has been swiped away across the line and comfortably clears the deep square leg fence.
9.1 Priyan Pushparajan to Fanyan Majeed, fuller-length delivery outside off, again an almighty swing across the line and gets beaten.
