It was a valiant effort from the Salt Pond Breakers but they kept losing wickets at regular intervals and in the end it was a comfortable victory by 29 runs for the Botanical Garden Rangers. Roshon Primus started off brilliantly with the new ball, bagging the wickets of dangerous Kadeem Alleyne and Kadir Nedd to reduce them to 4/2 inside the 1st over.
Ryan John also gave his wicket away cheaply and the onus was upto Delorn Johnson and Seon Sween to take the run chase forward. The required rate kept climbing at an alarming rate but they still ensured that they got some boundaries which kept them in the game. Johnson struck 22 off 11 deliveries before his departure while Sween made 16 off 13 deliveries.
Ricavo Williams who had a great time with the ball came out all guns blazing and smashed his way to a blistering 25 which came in just 7 deliveries. It was all flair and clean striking from Ricavo and his knock included 3 fours and 2 sixes to take the attack to the Rangers bowlers. However, his wicket proved to be the final nail in the coffin as the rest of the batters didn’t have the power to get them over the line.

Jarel Edwards to Irvin Warrican, OUT! IT'S ALLOVER! Full length delivery outside the off stump as Irvin steps out looking to loft it inside out over the covers. He doesn't middle it though as it comes off the toe-end as he spoons it into the hands of long off who gobbles it up. Botanical Gardens Rangers win by 29 runs and secure a spot in Qualifier 2!

Jarel Edwards to Irvin Warrican, short and turning away outside the off stump with a bit of extra bounce. Irvin attempts a cut but is beaten by the spin and bounce.
30 runs required off the final over with Jarrell Edwards coming in for the final over. Primus was picked away for a couple of boundaries but overall he was impeccable and finishes off with an impressive spell.

Roshon Primus to Rasheed Frederick, back of a length and angling away outside the off stump. Frederick has a wild heave across the line but only connects with thin air.
Primus will be looking to finish it off on the final delivery of his spell. It has been a great effort with the ball from Primus and the match is almost sealed at this juncture.

Roshon Primus to Jomel Warrican, HOLESOUT! THEREGOESANOTHER! Full length delivery outside the off stump and Warrican clears his front leg to swing for the bleachers. Ends up shanking it down the throat of long on though as he fails to middle it, handing the fielder a simple catch. The Breakers are one wicket away from being bowled out now.
