Portugal win by 6 wickets with 9 balls to spare!
Kuldeep Gholiya 63 (19) | Junaid Khan - 2/8 (2) Michael English 65* (27) | Jack Hogarth - 2/25 (2)
This has been a superb effort from Portugal! They were good right from the second over of the innings and that onslaught continued right till the end. They deserved this win just for the way they went about this run chase!
Kuldeep Gholiya started off a tremendous chase putting pressure on the Scotland XI bowling and he just did not stop. The rest of the batting did indeed give him a helping hand. Even though there were wickets falling to try and bring Scotland XI back in the game, the approach of taking the bowling on never changed.
A couple of catches were dropped and in a way, the Scots were given a big reality check by Portugal straightaway in the group!
