Trakia 84/4 in 10 overs Zaid Soulat 38(18) | Ali Rasool 2/2 Abbas Zaidi 15*(24) | Sid Nair 2/3
Right so, Sofia Spartans have cruised to an easy win here and they've won this game by a massive margin of 113 runs! Their victory was never in question as 198 was always going to be too huge a mountain to climb for Trakia and they fell well short in the end! Zaid Soulat played a really good innings and he managed to restore some respectability in their batting effort as long as he was there! He made a brisk 38 from 18 balls. Abbas Zaidi made a painful 15 not out of 24.
The Spartans bowlers were brilliant up front with the ball as Ali Rasool began proceedings in the powerplay with two wickets and choked the flow of runs! The rest of the bowlers played their part too as they managed to keep the runs in check and didn't concede too many! In the end, Sid Nair chipped in with two wickets to enhance his own tally and get himself up on the bowling charts.
