That brings us to the end of our coverage of this match. Temba Bavuma, South Africa captain: In terms of the cricket, there were a lot of positives, within the batting and the bowling. It's been a while one of our guys went out there and took a five-for. Sisanda again, putting up his hands and making the play for the team. He's fitting in like a glove into the team, he comes in when the ball is a bit old. He's always looking to attack and hit those wickets, and things have gone his way. Every game, he's put up his hand and put his best foot forward. The pink game is always enjoyable. Our record is quite good in pink, maybe we should play more in pink. The initiative, the cause, the guys keep it to their hearts and it shows in their performances. It was an awesome day, the people came out in numbers and showed their support, and we are happy to play our part in raising such a considerable amount for the cause. Things have gone nicely for me this summer, I have been finding the middle of the bat more. It's been a lot of enjoyment.

Aiden Markram (Player of the Match and the Series): Lot of relief going through (on getting his hundred). Credit to the selectors who kept faith in me. End of the day, we just need to put up big totals on the board and defend them and today was one of those days. Miller did a great job, he came in at a tough time and made things easy for me. He is in the form of his life and deserved a 100 today. Super grateful for how things have turned out for me lately. The team is moving in the right direction in both red ball and white ball. The summer has turned out nicely. It is always nice to be a part of pink day, it's a great occasion and it's always nice to see big crowds coming in.

Scott Edwards (Netherlands skipper): I feel like we were almost there with the ball. Had we taken the catch and got them to five down, the target could have been down to 300-320. Credit to them, they batted really well. We needed someone to play a big knock like Aiden. Yeah, Fred and Kingma did a great job with the new ball to restrict their top order. We had quite a young squad for the series. Seeing Musa face the short ball barrage, was nice to watch. I am happy to be a part of such a big awareness project and I hope we raised a lot of money (speaking on the pink ODI).

371 was always going to be away from the grasp of the men in orange, but the Netherlands came out with the correct intent. But as is the case for lesser experienced international sides, they started to run out of steam midway through the chase. Once the Netherlands top order were back in the hut, South Africa went on to close out the game in clinical fashion. Sisanda Magala kept knocking those stumps over on his way to a five-wicket haul, and Tabraiz Shamsi wrapped things up with a wicket to his name, having gone for quite a few in his first spell.

The South African pacers weren't hitting the right line and length at the start of the powerplay, and the Netherlands opening pair of Vikramjit Singh and Max O'Dowd went on to capitalize. Vikramjit was looking in good flow, finding the gaps often and picking up the boundaries. But his innings was cut short when a lack of feet movement against Jansen saw his stumps take a beating. O'Dowd kept going, stitching a partnership of above 50 with Musa Ahmed.

Magala then went on to break it, making O'Dowd drag on to his stumps. O'Dowd's partner, Musa, didn't have the most comfortable of stays in the middle, at least not at the start. He got an few good ones, was roughed up by Anrich Norjte's pace several times, but grinded it out and got to a half century. He took a liking to Shamsi's wrist spinners, slogging him out of the park on three occasions.

Once Markram accounted for Musa halfway into the chase, the wind was knocked out of the Netherlands. The required rate started to climb from thereon as Wesley Barresi and Scott Edwards stuck around for a while. Magala then opened the floodgates, dismissing the former, and then went on to feast on the Netherlands lower-order, knocking their stumps over one by one. Vivian Kingman was the last man out, with Shamsi taking the final scalp. South Africa take the series 2-0, and are close to automatic qualification for the 2023 World Cup!

And that is that! South Africa have done their job, they mop Netherlands up and take the series 2-0!
