A really magnificent bowling performance from the Sixers led by the veteran Steve O'Keefe. 152 looked like a part total at best and hardly anyone would have considered it a match-winning despite it being a pitch which had a bit of uneven bounce and some grip for the spinners.

Warner and Hales breathed fire in the powerplay and it looked like they'll kill the game in the first 10 overs itself. But O'Keefe came on soon after the first four overs and struck twice in six balls to send back both Hales and Bancroft. From then on, him and Murphy gripped the game by the scuff of its neck.

Warner stood alone at one end and the run-rate was completely blocked at the other. Pacers Kerr, Abbott and Dwarshuis utilised that pressure into taking wickets in the middle overs setting it up perfectly for O'Keefe to come back in the 17th and snap Warner up when he was under pressure which killed the game.
