Ben Dunk, Texas Chargers captain: We've been building momentum and we've put on a complete performance today. Really happy for the guys, and excited to play on the weekend. It's been a bit frustrating for me, because I think I've hit the ball pretty well, but I guess that's the game. All the guys contributed - the Colonel and Darren Stevens played really well towards the end, and with the ball, the guys were awesome.

The Riders' lower-order had a lot of fun towards the latter stages, particularly Harmeet Singh - whose stay in the middle gave a glimmer of hope to the Riders. But they were always up against it, particularly with the Chargers picking up wickets in quick succession. They saw their top and middle-order being blown away by an incredible first over from Imran Khan in just the 2nd over of the run-chase, and they were chasing the game since then itself.

Robin Uthappa looked to go for it right from ball one, but the Riders skipper holed out to deep point perfectly in doing so. A remarkable triple-wicket maiden over followed from Imran Khan, one that saw him nip the ball off the deck and get the batters to hole out one by one. Lendl Simmons, joined by former Pakistan international Hammad Azam, looked to put up a fight. While they were able to make the most of the floating powerplay, both batters fell soon after in quick succession.

With wickets falling at regular intervals, the Riders, up against an uphill task in the first place, were still hopeful with Harmeet Singh out there. The left-hander kept finding and clearing the ropes, but once he holed out early in the 8th over, the game was done and dusted. Elias Sunny had some fun with the bat, but the Chargers went on to close the game out without fuss.
