What a superb win from UCB in the end as they sneak in a 11-run victory. After posting 83/7, it seemed like Cobra CC had the advantage. However, Cobra CC got off to a bad start in the chase as the duo of Hafeez Ullah and Sheikh Rasik departed in the second over. Satyadeep Ashwathnarayana was the next to be dismissed as Cobra CC were reduced to 15-3. At one end, Anuj Kumar struggled to get going and he was eventually retired out in the sixth over.
Cobra CC were dealt with a bigger blow when the dangerous Usama Muhammad was run-out in the seventh over. UCB were still put under slight pressure when Shaharyar Butt opened but the wily Ashrith Darapureddy castled him at the end of the eighth over. Kasir Ahmed followed it up with a economical penultimate over as Cobra CC required 24 off the last six balls. Sanjay Kumar gave his best and remained unbeaten in the end but his side still fell short by 11 runs!
