What VSK will not like one bit about this chase is that they did not even attempt to do so. It appeared as if they conceded the game right from ball one and did not even feel like challenging the hegemony enjoyed by Paris Zalmi.

Zalmi were on the backfoot coming into this game on the back of a disappointing loss to Paris Knight Riders via Golden Ball but managed to dominate proceedings.

VSK gave them the opportunity to bat with complete freedom in the first innings and then did not even put up a fight with the bat in hand in the second.

This game will go down as one of the most disappointing that this bunch of players has participated in. VSK will hope that they can overcome the pain of this defeat and come back stronger in this competition.
