A clinical performance from PCC to collect their third win of the season. They put up an above-par score on the board but VCC matched them in the powerplay by reaching 31/1. Rakshit and Goud lacked the required intent after losing the first wicket early but they kept VCC in the game.

But Padmaraju made Goud to play one onto his stumps in the sixth over and Rakshit couldn't keep a straight one out against Wickramasekara in the sixth. The double blow exposed VCC's weak middle order. Mohd and Nabeel showed a bit of intent but it was too late by then.

PCC kept picking wickets every over with simple wicket-to-wicket bowling and kept VCC down to just 97 runs.
