That brings us to the end of our coverage for this encounter. Switch tabs to follow the IPL final where Sai Sudarshan has lit up the Narendra Modi Stadium with a fantastic 96. Gujarat Titans have posted 214 in their allotted 20 overs and the run chase is coming up in a short while. But for now, this is myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signed off on behalf of my fellow commentator Pradeep.
Warwickshire won by 7 wickets (with 34 deliveries to spare)
Warwickshire 99/3 in 14.2 overs
Alex Davies 51*(39) | Robert Yates 30(24) Luke Wells 1/9(2) | Matthew Parkinson 1/20(3.2)
The target of 99 was never going to be a problem for Warwickshire as they chase down the target with more than 5 overs to spare. It was sensible batting up front before some good bowling from the spinners helped Lancashire bag 3 wickets in the middle overs but the target was never going to be enough.
The match was almost done and dusted at the halfway stage of the innings when Lancashire was bowled out for 98 runs. Robert Yates and Alex Davies batted superbly in the powerplay. They started off cautiously in the first three overs and then took it on them to strike the boundaries.
After Yates, it was Davies who took the onus on himself to play the big shots. Yates was eventually dismissed by Parkinson but Davies kept going. Glenn Maxwell and Sam Hain depart in an attempt to finish it off early. Davies stayed there till the end and in the company of Dan Mousley took his team over the finishing line with 34 deliveries to spare.
14.2 Matt Parkinson to Alex Davies, THAT'S IT! Birmingham Bears make it three in three as Lancashire after four games, they taste their first defeat. Davies takes the single to seal the game.

13.4 Luke Wells to Dan Mousley, short and wide of off-stump, Mousley went back and cuts it hard to deep point and they hustle back for the brace. Scores are level now!
13.3 Luke Wells to Dan Mousley, OH! Fired the short delivery on the stumps, Mousley went back to defend but toe ends it past the stumps.
13.2 Luke Wells to Dan Mousley, good length and turning away outside the off-stump, Mousley attempts a reverse sweep but completely misses it.
