Well, this has been quite an eventful game right from the start till the very end. The Knights ended with 106, that seemed just about par when they batted first. Proving to be enough in the end though, as they beat the Panthers by 13 runs eventually.
It was all but a one man show for the Panthers. Azhar Andani fought well with a 30-ball 50 but his knock alone was not going to be enough to take them over the line. All the other batsmen failed to get going which cost them the game.
They were unable to build any decent partnership as they lost wickets regularly. They did look to be in the chase at the half-way stage but the Knights bowled very well from there on. Skipper Andrew Winter led the charge with the ball, with figures of 2/11 while Miguel Stoman picked up a couple as well. Junaid Khan and Girish Singh chipping in with one each and it was a good team effort in the end.
That is all from this game then. Do stay tuned for all the action from the final game of the day coming up shortly. This is Rishab and Pratyush signing off for the moment!
That is that then! The Knights desperately needed a win and they have come goods against the Panthers, successfully defending their total in the end as the Panthers fall short!
