That brings us to the end of our coverage for this encounter. You can switch tabs to follow the Bangladesh Pakistan World Cup game which is currently underway. Up until the next time, this is me (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off also on behalf of my fellow commentator Pragadeesh.
Zagreb Chiefs won by 54 runs
Ali Turkmen 50*(24) | Ali Turkmen 1/5(2) Alen Magdalenic 18(26) | Sachin Chugh 1/11(2)
It was another disappointing outing for the Zagreb Warriors as they continued their losing streak, losing their 12th match on the bounce. While they have some good bowlers in their ranks, the batting department lacks the firepower and the technique which has resulted in their dismal performances. They started off well with the ball but some good power-hitting towards the end, propelled them to a more than competitive score of 110.
It was always going to be a tall ask for the Warriors and it turned out exactly that way. Sachin Chugh and Damir Mandic departed early and it was Alen Magdalenic who gave some sort of semblance to the score with a knock of 18 which came in 26 deliveries. They were never in contention with the required rate and kept losing wickets. Peter Bosnjak was the only other batter who crossed double digits. Ali Turkmen started off brilliantly and finished with figures of 1/5 in his 2 overs.
