Patna Pirates cruise to a comfortable win and climb to the third spot in the table, while Gujarat Giants' struggles continue with their sixth consecutive loss, leaving them at the bottom.

In this encounter, Gujarat had a brief moment of dominance at the start, but it was Patna who took control for the majority of the match. Ayan stood out, carrying the team with an impressive all-round performance, notching up eight raid points and two tackle points. With Devank not quite at his best, Ayan took charge, supported well by Sandeep and the ever-reliable defense.

Speaking of defense, Patna’s backline was solid, with Deepak leading the charge at right cover, contributing four crucial tackle points.

For Gujarat, it was another disappointing outing. There were flashes of good play here and there, but as we’ve seen, that’s not enough to secure a win in this fiercely competitive league.

SUPER TACKLE! Some respite for Gujarat Giants. It won't change the result now but something to cheer for. Devank attempts a back kick on the left corner but Mohit rushes and dashes the raider down. 

The Giants defense deliver another tackle. Too late of a comeback from them. Jitender Yadav comes with a perfect block from the left corner and traps Ayan down.

Do-or-die raid for Gujarat Giants! It's Rakesh who has come in and he is tackled down by Ankit Jaglan's ankle hold at the left corner. 

38' Gujarat Giants 24-39 Patna Pirates

Do-or-die for Gujarat Giants as well! And he has been taken down by Deepak with a dash from the right cover. 

36' Gujarat Giants 24-38 Patna Pirates

Patna Pirates keep taking points and are showing no signs of stopping. A brilliant block from Arkam Shaikh and Guman Singh was left clueless. 

Do-or-die raid for Patna Pirates! Sandeep has been given the responsibility and he lives up on it escaping an advance dash from Himanshu from the right corner.

A multi-point raid for Devank and it couldn't have come with this ease. Gets a bonus first under the left corner and then got a free point from Himanshu who stepped out of bounds. 

Ayan is making his mark tonight on both ends of the mat. A chain tackle alongside Shubham Shinde to pin down Rakesh. 

A great ankle hold by Jitender Yadav on Devank. Finally something to cheer about for the Giants' defense.

ALL OUT!! Patna Pirates inflict the second all-out on the Giants. Parteek gets a bonus under right corner but Ayan steps up in defense as well with an ankle hold from the right in.

And now Ayan adds another with an escape from Vahid's ankle hold at the left cover. 

Fifth point of the night for Guman Singh. It comes from an escape from Shubham Shinde's ankle hold at the right corner. 

30' Gujarat Giants 21-29 Patna Pirates

Patna Pirates are just running down all over the Giants. A super tackle for on for the Giants but Mohit just gave away a point with an advance dash. 

Do or die for Gujarat Giants! Patna Pirates give away an easy bonus to him and wants to capitalize with an all-out at the end other end. 

And their plan works! A two-man defense for the Giants and Ayan once again gets a running hand touch on Rohit at the left corner. 

28' Gujarat Giants 20-27 Patna Pirates

Patna Pirates continue to dominate here. Ayan, who has been good in raiding, now contributes in defense as well with an ankle hold on none other than Guman Singh. 

Sandeep adds to Patna's tally with a running hand touch on Vahid Rezaeimehr at the right cover. 

Ayan continues to dazzle tonight. A running hand touch on Jitender Yadav at the left corner followed by a thigh five to stare down at the defenders. 

26' Gujarat Giants 20-24 Patna Pirates

Guman Singh finally gets a point. A show of speed from the captain as he races down with a running hand touch on Arkam Shaikh at the left cover.

What an escape from Ayan here. Entices Himanshu for an ankle hold but Ayan was quick to find his way back. 

Guman Singh responds with a bonus as well under the right corner. 

24' Gujarat Giants 18-23 Patna Pirates

Do or die raid for Gujarat Giants! Rakesh is in against a five-man Patna defense with no bonus on. The Pirates were patient and let Rakesh come in. Deepak, right in time, goes for a dash and pushes Rakesh out from the right cover. 

Ayan quickly adds a point to his tally with a quick bonus between the right corner and right in. 

22' Gujarat Giants 18-21 Patna Pirates

Sandeep has been tackled down by the Giants courtesy of a double ankle hold by Himanshu. The defender didn't get a hold though, however, the other defenders came right in time with support and pinned Sandeep down. The Pirates have reviewed it asking for a point each but the original decision stays. 

Himanshu with another point for the Giants and this time on Devank. A block from the right corner on Devank who tried to go under the chain but couldn't succeed. 

HALF-TIME! Gujarat Giants 16-21 Patna Pirates

A five-point lead for the Pirates heading into the final 20 minutes of the game. The Giants started off well and looked pretty solid initially on both ends. They managed to keep Devank Dalal quiet and thus the scores were pretty even. 

However, the Pirates surged courtesy of everyone stepping up and they started pushing for an all-out. The Giants' defense applied resistance with two Super Tackles but it was shortlived as Devank found his grooving and burst in the last few minutes of the first half to inflict an all-out and give Patna a much-needed momentum.

Devank is back to form with his trademark flying hand touch. A brilliant one this time on Mohit and Devank stares down at the defender with pure audacity. 

Things have started to slip away from Gujarat. Guman Singh attempts a running hand touch on the right corner but couldn't control his speed and thus enters the lobby without any touch. 

18' Gujarat Giants 16-19 Patna Pirates

A much-needed point for Devank. A big boost for his confidence as he manages to escape an ankle hold by Jitender Yadav from the left corner.

Do or die raid for Gujarat Giants! It's Himanshu who goes in but is tackled down by Deepak with a thigh hold from the right cover.

Devank is pushing for an all out over the Giants. This time he escapes an ankle hold from Sombir at the right corner.

ALL OUT!! Last man in for Gujarat Giants and it is Parteek Dahiya. He gets a bonus under the left corner but fails to escape a block from Deepak from the right cover.

SUPER TACKLE!! What an unfortunate way to give away two free points to the opposition. Sandeep goes in a three-man Gujarat defense but finds his foot in the lobby without a touch and thus has to go back disappointed. 

14' Gujarat Giants 13-13 Patna Pirates

The Giants' defense has managed to outmuscle Devank tonight. A dash of sheer power by Himanshu from the cover to throw out Devank. However, the left corner defender had stepped out and thus a point each has been awarded to both teams.

Do or die raid for Rakesh! Gets a running bonus under there right corner but shows his back to the left side as Arkam Shaikh pounces with a dash from left cover. 

12' Gujarat Giants 11-11 Patna Pirates

Sandeep goes in deep at the left corner and surprises Jitender Yadav with a back kick on the defender's chest. 

Back to back ankle holds by Shubham Shinde on Guman Singh. Guman tried for a toe touch but Shubham was ready and immediately grabs Guman's ankle. 

SUPER TACKLE!! That is just phenomenal from Parteek Dahiya. A ruthless double thigh hold on Ayan who just couldn't jump over the defender's head. 

10' Gujarat Giants 9-9 Patna Pirates

That's some show of strength by Mohit at the right cover. Ayan goes in deep for a running hand touch but Mohit was too quick with his back hold to take the raider down. 

Do or die raid for Guman Singh! And he does what he does best, a running hand touch on Deepak at the right cover. 

First touch point for Devank tonight as he escapes a block by Sombir who comes in front from the right corner. 

Captain steps up for Patna this time. Ankit Jaglan, at the left corner, takes down Rakesh with an ankle hold. Scores are now tied after 10 minutes.

Shubham Shinde, you beast. What a solo ankle hold by the right corner defender as he gets a perfect grip on Guman's ankle. 

Silly from Balaji D here. An advance double ankle hold from the left cover but Ayan jumps over and finds his way back.

Is Guman Singh dashed out here? Yes he is. Arkam Shaikh comes from the cover region to pushes Guman out of bounds but unfortunately finds himself out as well. 1-point each.

The main man Guman Singh, as expected, starts for Gujarat and he immediately gets a bonus under the right corner.
