FULL-TIME!! Patna Pirates 40-42 U Mumba

This game was not for the faint-hearted - it had everything, literally everything! A true rollercoaster from start to finish, with neither team in control at any point.

Patna kicked things off strong, inflicting an early all-out, but U Mumba kept the gap close. Ajit Chavan then pulled off something incredible with back-to-back Super Raids, securing an all-out in just two raids and putting U Mumba in the lead by halftime.

But the game was far from over. Devank responded for the Pirates with a Super Raid, setting up an all-out on U Mumba with just 10 minutes to go. Pirates managed to hold a slim lead as the game went right down to the wire, with U Mumba trailing by just one point in the final minute.

Then came the twist! Amirmohammad Zafardanesh, who had been having an off night in raiding, came through with a stunning ankle hold to all-out the Pirates in the final three seconds, handing U Mumba a two-point lead and sealing the win.

Full credit to Ajit Chavan, whose 19 raid points kept U Mumba in the game and eventually led them to victory. For the Pirates, Devank shone with 15 points of his own.

Ajit Chavan, you beauty. He jumps over a double ankle hold Thiyagarajan Yuvaraj leaving Patna with just one man. 

What is Sombir doing tonight? Sunil Kumar is not happy with him at all. Sandeep gets a bonus under left corner but Sombir goes advance with a half-hearted dash to give away two points. 

Just 30 seconds to go and Ajit Chavan gets another point with an escape from Arkam Shaikh's block. Patna are again left with just Sandeep on the mat. 

ALL OUT!!!! What a tackle and what a game this has been. Sandeep attempts a bonus under left in but Amirmohammad Zafardanesh, a raider, holds his nerves to grabs his ankles whereas Sunil Kumar comes right in time for support. Just three seconds left and U Mumba take a two-point lead. 

Last raid and it's Sunil Kumar who crosses and baulk line and comes back with an empty raid to seal a thrilling win for U Mumba.

Do or die raid for U Mumba! And Ajit Chavan has delivered yet again. Tries a kick on the right corner. Doesn't get one but escapes a dash from Ankit. 

Do or die raid for Sandeep as well! U Mumba easily give away a point to him in the form of bonus. 

A timeout by U Mumba as they trail by just one point with a minute and a half to go. A do or die raid to follow for them.

Just one-point difference and both teams now play on do or die raids.

A fantastic no-look toe touch from Sandeep on Sombir at the left corner. The defenders was left clueless.

Ajit Chavan pulls off another rabbit from his hat. A quick toe touch from him at the left corner Babu M. 

Rohit Raghav has been crucial for U Mumba at this stage and he proves so with a running kick on Navdeep at the right corner. 

Rohit now follows with a tackle as well. And it is on the main man Devank with a double ankle hold.

Patna Pirates have reviewed for two points here as the referee handed a point to U Mumba!. Ayan gets a touch on Sunil Kumar at the right corner followed by escaping a dash from Parvesh. However, Ayan went out of bounds before, and thus, the decision stands. 

Ajit Chavan gets lucky here this time. He was tackled down by Arkam Shaikh's block, but the defender was out of bounds during the struggle, and thus Ajit's safe. 

33' Patna Pirates 36-31 U Mumba

What are U Mumba doing here now. A brainfade moment for Rinku at the right corner who just goes for a half-hearted block on Devank who touches and goes back with ease.

Ajit Chavan tries to close down the gap with a bonus under right corner.

Another silly tackle from U Mumba and it's Sombir who goes too ahead to tackle Devank who was already on his way back with a bonus. 

Ajit Chavan responds with another bonus point under right in.

ALL-OUT!! Zafardanesh gets a bonus under left in. However, he fails to jump over Deepak's block from the right cover. Patna Pirates take a four-point lead at a crucial stage.

Do or die raid for Patna Pirates! It's the tall man Devank who has come in. It's a SUPER RAID!!! Devank completes his SUPER 10 and U Mumba are on the verge of an all-out. He goes in deep at the left corner, where Sombir gets a hold of his ankle. It looked as if Devank was pinned down, but he waited for Sunil and Parvesh to come and falls right in time to use his height and get past the midline. Patna Pirates take the lead back. 

28' Patna Pirates 27-28 U Mumba

U Mumba finally get a point after giving away three points. Sombir predicts Ayan's running hand touch and was ready with a block from the left corner. 

Do or die raid U Mumba! With no Ajit Chavan on mat, Manjeet has went in and he is tackled by an ankle hold by Deepak. 

26' Patna Pirates 26-27 U Mumba

Devank's running hand touches have been brilliant tonight as he gets this time on Zafardanesh on the right in. 

Ajit Chavan is finally pinned down by the Pirates. It's Navdeep who has pulled this off with a perfect ankle hold. 

Ayan adds another point for Patna with a running hand touch on Sunil Kumar at the left in.

Do or die raid for U Mumba! It's the main man, Ajit Chavan, who has come in. Goes in deep at the right corner and finds Arkam Shaikh with a dash but uses the lobby to his advantage and gets his hand past the midline right in time. 

First point of the night for Rinku. He gets a trademark ankle hold on Ayan at the right corner. 

Ajit Chavan is pulling off new antics tonight. This time goes in deep at the centre and gets a big kick on Deepak. The Pirates have no answers to his antics. 

22' Patna Pirates 23-24 U Mumba

Devank uses his height to his advantage as he extends his arm and gets a running hand touch on Parvesh Bhainswal. 

What is Sombir doing today. Yet another advance double ankle hold from him but Ayan escapes easily. 

HALF-TIME Patna Pirates 21-24 U Mumba

What a turnaround we’ve witnessed here! The first half was all about Patna Pirates holding a steady lead, but it was Ajit Chavan who stole the show with two back-to-back Super raids to pull off an all-out on Patna Pirates. In a matter of moments, he wiped out all seven Patna defenders and turned the tide in favor of U Mumba!

The momentum has shifted, and now U Mumba leads by three points as they head into the second half. What a thrilling finish to the first 20 minutes, and it promises even more excitement in the second half. Stay tuned!

SUPER RAID!! Ajit Chavan, you beauty! What a raid from the youngster who first tries a bonus under the right corner followed by taking down not one but three defenders on his way back. Ayan goes for an ankle hold, whereas Shubham and Arkam come for support, but Ajit is too quick to escape. Brilliant, just brilliant. He has brought U Mumba back into the game. U Mumba have reviewed for a bonus as well but they don't get one. THREE POINTS!!

BACK-TO-BACK SUPER RAIDS FROM AJIT CHAVAN AND AN ALL OUT!! A SIX-POINT RAID!! Yes, you heard it right. Ajit Chavan has gone crazy here in Hyderabad as he goes in deep at the left in defender and escapes tackles from four Patna defenders to pull off an incredible all out! U Mumba in lead here now.

ALL-OUT!! Patna Pirates finally break through the Mumba defense as Ayan escapes an ankle hold by Sunil and a dash from Manjeet to secure a four-point raid. 

Devank gets the better of Sunil Kumar yet again with an extended running hand touch on the right cover.

14' Patna Pirates 12-12 U Mumba

Do or die raid for U Mumba! Ahh, that's silly from Amirmohammad Zafardanesh. He tries a quick running hand touch but loses his balance and finds himself out of bounds. 

Do or die for Patna Pirates! Sandeep has been handed over the responsibility here. That was so so good from Sandeep as he runs all around by quickly turning and literally escaping every defender and also getting a touch on Amin Gharbani on his way back. 

Manjeet responds with a quick bonus. 

12' Patna Pirates 10-11 U Mumba

SUPER TACKLE!! U Mumba's defense have done it once again. This time it's Sombir and Amirmohammad's chain that gets the better of Ayan. The raider tries to go under the chain but was trapped under as the Mumba defenders gave no room to escape. 

10' Patna Pirates 10-9 U Mumba

Another two-point raid for Patna Pirates, and this time, it's Ayan. Goes in deep at the right corner to get a touch on Rinku. On his way back, he gets his hand on Parvesh as well who came in for a dash.

SUPER TACKLE!! U Mumba bounces back in style, and it is raider Manjeet who has pulled off this important tackle on none other than Devank. He gets a hold of Devank's ankles and finds support from the other defender as well. Devank struggles a lot but Manjeet didn't lose his grip at all to bring U Mumba back in the game. 

8' Patna Pirates 7-6 U Mumba

Do or die raid for U Mumba! Manjeet has come it from the right side and he goes in deep which entices Deepak to come in for a block. However, Manjeet jumps over him masterfully and escapes. 

Do or die for Patna Pirates as well! And Devank gets a mulit-point raid here. He escapes an ankle hold by Sombir first before going past Sunil Kumar's dash.

Ohh that's an error from Ankit here. He goes for an advance back hold but a tall Amirmohammad Zafardanesh escapes with ease.

U Mumba's defenders open their tally for tonight as captain Sunil Kumar gets a perfect ankle hold on Ayan at the right cover. 

4' Patna Pirates 5-3 U Mumba

It's the first raid of the night for Ajit Chavan, and he gets a bonus under Shubham Shinde at the right corner.

Do or die raid for Patna Pirates! And it's young Ayan who has taken up the responsibility. He increases his pace and extends his arm to get a running hand touch on Sombir at the left corner. 

A close call here as Ajit Chavan seems to be dashed out by Arkam Shaikh. However, Arkam also found his ankle past the midline and thus both teams get a point each.

Devank continues his exceptional form as he begins with an escape from Sombir's advance back hold at the left corner.
