FULL TIME! Dabang Delhi KC 41-37 Telugu Titans

A fierce battle comes to an end in favour of Dabang Delhi KC, who get back to winning ways with a win over the Titans. It was a display of sheer raiding prowess of both teams as Pawan Sehrawat, Ashu Malik and Naveen Kumar all notched up Super 10s. Only 2 tackle points for the Titans in the entire match, zero in the second half and that was one of the biggest reasons for their loss here. At half time, it was the Titans who were in the driving seat but the duo of Ashu Malik and Naveen Kumar combined to take their side to victory! 

40' Pawan Sehrawat puts in a kick on the left corner and leaps to the mid-line, not being affected by the dash that the right cover put. Naveen runs down the clock and that is it! The Titans crash to another loss 

Delhi 41-37 Telugu 

40' Do-or-die raid for Delhi and Ashu Malik runs down the clock before going for a point in the last ten seconds. A dash from the right cover and Ashu turns and tumbles before landing in the lobby before crossing the mid-line. However, did it come within time? Yes it did! Two points! 

Delhi 41-35 Telugu 

39' Ashu Malik escapes from the Titans' left corner's ankle hold to get back. Pawan Sehrawat believes as he picks up a bonus and goes around the dashing cover to return. 

Pawan turns and returns as the right corner tries an advance block. Pawan with another quick raid as he sends back one of the defenders who was trying an advance tackle. 

Delhi 39-35 Telugu 

37' ALL OUT! Ashish Narwal goes deep in the left corner and is granted the bonus point. The right cover comes around and sends him packing with a dash 

Delhi 38-31 Telugu 

37' Ashu Malik sends back Pawan Sehrawat and the Titans are back down to one man. 

Ashish Narwal is granted the bonus point following which he escapes from the left corner's ankle hold and returns with a couple of points! 

Naveen writhes his foot free from the left corner's hold and the Titans are back down to one man. 

Delhi 35-30 Titans 

35' Ashu Malik runs around and gets a running hand touch on Krishan in the right corner. The Titans raider Ashish Narwal snaps up a bonus point. 

A lunge from Ashu and he gets a touch on Rathee in the right corner, reducing the Titans down to one man. 

Ashish Narwal prevents the all-out as he is granted the bonus point following which he gets a touch on the right corner before returning to his half. 

Delhi 33-28 Telugu 

33' Naveen Kumar gets a running hand touch on one of the defenders in the centre. The Titans raider picks up a bonus. Naveen sends back the left corner defender with a kick. 

Delhi 31-25 Telugu 

30' Naveen escapes from left corner's ankle hold and returns back to his half. Vijay Malik tries a kick while the left corner tries an ankle hold - Vijay is quick to change his momentum towards the mid-line and returns. 

Delhi 29-24 Telugu

28' Pawan Sehrawat picks up a bonus as the defense stays back. Naveen jumps through the air and tags the right cover defender.

The right cover tries a double thigh hold on Pawan, who drags himself back to the mid-line comfortably. Naveen picks up a bonus and the right cover comes for a dash. However, Naveen uses the lobby well to escape to complete his Super 10. On the other side, Pawan tries a jump over Yogesh but is brought down

Delhi 28-23 Telugu 

25' Chetan Sahu is substituted in for the raid and the bonus has been given to him. The right cover puts in a solid thigh hold and stops the raider in his tracks! ALL OUT! 

Delhi 24-21 Telugu 

24' Naveen Kumar escapes from Pawan's attempted ankle hold and drags himself back to the mid-line. Do-or-die raid for the Titans and the raider Ashish Narwal perishes as the left corner puts in a solid ankle hold to pin him down. 

Amit from the left corner goes out of bounds and he is self out! Telugu are down to one man now! 

Delhi 21-20 Telugu

22' Ashu Malik picks up a bonus and then writhes his foot free from Vijay Malik's attempted ankle hold to return to the mid-line. And it is Ashu Malik again who sends back the left corner with a toe-touch.

Telugu Titans have reviewed for a bonus point! Pawan's foot was cutting the line and the bonus is denied. 

Delhi 18-20 Telugu 

Half-time: Telugu Titans 20-15 Dabang Delhi K.C.

A topsy-turvy half as Titans take the lead in the end. Dabang Delhi had a good start as they sent Pawan off the mat early. They continued to add the advantage but then Pawan Sehrawat came back on the mat and wrecked havoc, getting a Super 10 and two Super Raids to his name. Titans would continue to make moves and Delhi would also make a little comeback but it was a bit too much to handle, with the scoreline reading in the favour of the Titans.

20' Pawan Sehrawat is on fire as he gets the kick out and gets in a point.  One point for Ashu Malik in his raid. Pawan comes in to raid and an error along with bonus gifts the Titans a point. Last raid of the half as Sagar Rathee makes an advanced tackle at the mid line. That will be half time!

Half-time: Telugu Titans 20-15 Dabang Delhi K.C.

18' Vijay Malik gets a toe touch and sends the defender on the right hand side off the mat. Naveen gets a bonus but Pawan with his next raid gets the remaining two players out. With that, Pawan gets a Super 10 and Dabang Delhi are all out!

Telugu Titans 17-11 Dabang Delhi K.C.

16' DO-OR-DIE Raid as Ashish Narwal comes in for the raid and he gets a running hand-touch off Yogesh. Ashu Malik comes in for the DO or DIE RAID and is tackled by Sagar Rathee with a double thigh hold.

Telugu Titans 12-10 Dabang Delhi K.C.

14' DO OR DIE RAID FOR VIJAY MALIK and Ashish becomes a bit too eager looking to go for the ankle hold, giving Titans the point. Naveen gets a running touch running deep into the opposition half and gets a touch off Ankit.

Telugu Titans 10-10 Dabang Delhi K.C.

12' Naveen Express gets the job done for his side and he toe touches Pawan Sehrawat and sends him to the bench.

Telugu Titans 9-9 Dabang Delhi K.C.

10' Naveen Express gets a touch off Krishan Dhull and adds another point to the total. Pawan returns with a high fly as he gets ANOTHER SUPER RAID! Pawan you beauty, Gacchibowli stands up to its hero! A time out has been taken here

Telugu Titans 9-8 Dabang Delhi K.C.

8' Ashu Malik with the raid and Amit Kumar fails as he goes for a thigh hold. Pawan subs himself on the mat and gets a SUPER RAID! Three points for the Titans but Dabang Delhi challenge the decision but the review is unsuccessful and the Super Raid stands!

Telugu Titans 6-7 Dabang Delhi K.C.

6' A series of empty raids in the last couple builds pressure, but Naveen Express returns with a multi-point raid. Pawan Sehrawat comes in for the DO OR DIE RAID and he picks up a bonus point

Telugu Titans 3-6 Dabang Delhi K.C.

4' Naveen Express with the first point of the night as Naveen gets a kick off Vijay Malik. Ashish Narwal comes in for the DO-OR-DIE Raid and gets a bonus point! Ashu Malik goes for the raid but Sagar Rathee puts in thigh hold a bit too early and gets out.

Telugu Titans 2-4 Dabang Delhi K.C.

2' An explosive start! Pawan comes in to put the first raid of the contest and is ankle-held by the left corner. Ashu Malik comes in for the second raid of the contest and he gets a touch off Krishan. Ashu Malik looked to jump and get past the men around him but Ankit holds him by the thigh. A good start for either sides.

Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the Pro Kabaddi League 2024. Match 18 of the league stages will be played between Telugu Titans and Dabang Delhi K.C.

We continue to go along in the tournament. This time both teams are coming off a defeat and will need a win to go on and continue their rise in the points table. Season 8 champions Dabang Delhi K.C. take on Telugu Titans in what promises to be a cracking contest.

Dabang Delhi K.C. had a good start to the tournament and currently are currently lodged in the top half of the table in the fifth position with a win and a loss to their name. A 36-28 win over U Mumba followed a 23-28 defeat against UP Yoddhas for them. They will want a win to their name to continue their rise to the top.

For Telugu Titans, the hosts will had a good start in their first game with a win over Bengaluru Bulls but big losses over Jaipur Pink Panthers and against Tamil Thalaivas have hurt them as they languish at the bottom half of the table. They will need this win badly to give something to the home crowd and start their ascendancy to the top half of the table.
