Gervonta "Tank" Davis, born in Baltimore, Maryland, on November 7, 1994, is an undefeated lightweight professional boxer who currently holds the WBA lightweight title. Coming from a rough childhood, having spent most of his life in group homes and foster care, and having seen his parents suffer from drug abuse, Davis found his comfort in the sport of boxing. From the tender age of five, he trained at the Upton Boxing Center in Baltimore under the coaching of Calvin Ford.

As of February 2025, "Tank" has maintained a perfect record with 30 victories, 28 by knockout, resulting in an impressive KO rate. His most popular fights were against Ryan Garcia in 2023 and a feature on the undercard of the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight in 2017. Davis' next fight is scheduled against the Lamont Roach Jr. on March 1, 2025.
