The Edmonton Oilers are a professional ice hockey team based in Edmonton, Alberta. The are currently situated in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference and having been in existence since 1972. Albeit, they joined the the NHL in 1979 after it was absorbed through the NHL-WHA merger. Since then in their 44 NHL seasons, they have participated in 26 playoffs and made the second round of the ongoing 2023-2024 Stanley Cup Finals.

Presently, the team boasts young talent like Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Philip Broberg, Jack Campbell, Zach Hyman, and Sam Carrick. Also, few of its players have been instrumental in bringing notable honors like the Hart Memorial Trophy, Jack Adams Award, James Norris Memorial Trophy, King Clancy Memorial Trophy, Lady Byng Memorial Trophy and the Lester B. Pearson Award to the team.

Edmonton Oilers Regular Season 2024-25 Schedule

The Edmonton Oilers are all set for another exciting NHL season after a thrilling run to the 2024 Stanley Cup Final. Despite coming up just short against the Florida Panthers in a seven-game series, the Oilers, led by Connor McDavid, are set to make another strong push for the Stanley Cup. They are going to kickstart the 2024-2025 regular season on October 9, 2024 against the Winnipeg Jets at Rogers Place.
