As of 2024, Zverev has won 23 singles titles in his career, including winning the 2024 Paris Masters. At the 2024 Paris Masters, he registered a win against home favourite Ugo Humbert in the final by 6-2, 6-2. His major career highlights are winning the ATP finals in 2018 and 2021 and winning the gold medal in singles at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Zverev has finished as runner-up in Grand Slams twice. He reached the final of the US Open in 2020, where he lost in the final against Dominic Thiem. He also reached the final of the French Open in 2024, where he lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the championship match. He recently qualified for the 2024 Nitto ATP Finals after registering his 450th career win over Brandon Nakashima, becoming the second player after Grigor Dimitrov to achieve this goal.
