Early Life and Career
Brendan Allen was born to James Allen and Michelle Allen on December 28, 1995, in South Carolina.
Allen started training in Jiu-jitsu when he was 13, along with his elder brother James Jr. Brendan. For his higher education, Brendan Allen joined Southeastern Louisiana University to major in criminal justice.
Later, he joined Clementi's Gladiator Academy to focus on mixed martial arts.
Brendan Allen turned pro once he won the IMMAF amateur middleweight championship in 2015.
Allen won the LFA middleweight championship by defeating Tim Hiley via a rear naked choke submission. The fight happened for LFA 50 on September 21, 2018.
Brendan Allen got his UFC contract by defeating Aaron Jeffery for Dana White's Contender Series 20 on July 16, 2019. Allen won the fight via a rear naked choke submission.
