Bron Breakker: A Brief Biography
Bron Breakker (real name - Bronson Rechsteiner) is an American professional wrestler, and former American football player signed with WWE. He is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner. He is currently signed to the NXT brand where he is a former two-time NXT Champion.
Early Life
Bron Breakker was born on October 24, 1997, in Woodstock, Georgia. He is the son of Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner. The two are famous for their work as the Steiner brothers in pro wrestling. Breakker attended Etowah High School in his hometown. Before moving to pro wrestling, Breakker played football and was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free-agent fullback in April 2020. However, he was let go by the team in August of that year.

Professional Wrestling Career
WWE (2021-Present)
In 2021, WWE signed Rechsteiner. In September, Rechsteiner made his debut at NXT 2.0 against L.A Knight. Rechsteiner was renamed Bron Breakker and was inserted into the NXT title picture. At Halloween Havoc, Breakker faced Ciampa for the NXT Championship and lost. Later, he joined Team 2.0 to face Team Black and Gold. At WarGames, Team 2.0 defeated Black and Gold. At New Year's Evil, Breakker defeated Ciampa to win the NXT Championship. In February, Breakker began feuding with Dolph Ziggler. At NXT Roadblock, Breakker lost the title to Ziggler. At Stand and Deliver, Breakker lost to Ziggler. On RAW after WrestleMania 38, Breakker defeated Ziggler and won the NXT Championship.
Next, he would go on to have feuds with Joe Gacy, Cameron Grimes and JD McGonagh, whom he all defeated at NXT 2.0 tapings and NXT Premium Live Events. After he defeated McGonagh at NXT Heatwave, Breakker was confronted by NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate who challenged him to a match at Worlds Collide. The match was later announced to be a title unification match, which Breakker won. At Halloween Havoc, Bron defeated Ilja Dragunov and JD McDonagh and retained his title. On 1st November, 2022 edition of NXT, Bron and Wes Lee lost to Pretty Deadly for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
After successful title defenses against Grayson Waller and Apollo Crews, Breakker defended his gold against Carmelo Hayes at NXT Stand and Deliver. At the event, Breakker lost his gold after 362 days and turned heel on the next episode of NXT by viciously attacking the new champion. He failed to regain the title from Hayes at NXT Battleground.
On June 20 at NXT Gold Rush, Breakker challenged Seth 'Freakin' Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship in a failed attempt. He attacked Von Wagner on the August 22 episode of NXT titled Heatwave. Two weeks later, he brutally attacked Wagner with steel steps including hitting on his face and skull area which ruled him out of the programming. Then, Breakker faced Odyssey Jones at WWE Superstar Spectacle which was his first match in India. At the event, he defeated Jones. The former NXT Champion then faced off against the former Andre the Giant Battle Royal winner Baron Corbin at NXT No Mercy in October 2023 in a losing effort.
On the October 10, 2023 episode, NXT went head-to-head with AEW Dynamite once again. On the same night, a match between two blood rivals Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes was announced. Interestingly, John Cena came out to support Hayes from his corner while The Bloodline's Paul Heyman sided with Breakker. In a match that could have gone either way, Hayes came out on top. Frustrated, Breakker attacked Hayes after the match. The Undertaker came out to this and choke slammed Breakker to finish the night. At Halloween Havoc, Von Wagner's manager and friend Mr. Stone challenged Breakker for a match to seek revenge but was of no match to Breakker's strength. On the November 28 episode of NXT, he defeated Eddie Thorpe to qualify for the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge Match at NXT Deadline.

Bron Breakker has won the NXT Championship twice in his career. His second reign lasted a total of 361 days, which is the second-highest reign in the title's history just behind Adam Cole whose first reign lasted a record 403 days. Speaking of his overall reign as a champion, Breakker remained the NXT Champion for a total of 423 days. This is again second to none but Adam Cole who had held the gold for 503 days across his two reigns.
Bron Breakker's Girlfriend
Bron Breakker has been in a relationship with fellow WWE NXT Superstar Brianna Coda who fans better known by her ring name, Cora Jade. The two have been dating since the fall of 2022. Cora Jade's real name is Brianna Coda. Born on January 14, 2001 in Chicago, Illinois, she is known for her work in WWE under the ring name Cora Jade, and in AEW and Impact Wrestling under the name Elayna Black. She made her pro-wrestling debut at a rather young age of 17 and has continued to move upwards ever since.
Jade signed a contract with WWE in January 2021 and was signed to NXT. She made her debut in a tag team alongside Gigi Dolin. Soon enough, she was made a singles superstar and was the winning member of her team at NXT WarGames in November that year. She then made a tag team alongside Roxanne Perez and won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship at Great American Bash. However, Jade would go on to turn at her partner vacating the titles. After months of skirmish, Jade lost to Perez.

Rick Steiner (Father)
An American real estate broker and the father of Bron Breakker, Rick Steiner is also a retired pro wrestler and one-half of the Steiner brothers tag team that once was the word in everyone's mouth in the 90s. Steiner was an eight-time WCW Tag Team Champion including winning the title seven times with his real-life brother Scott Steiner.
Apart from WCW, Steiner has also won tag team gold in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) and World Wrestling Federation (WWF). Steiner also made his appearance at NXT: New Year Devil to celebrate his son's title victory.
