Brooks Jensen

Brooks Jensen is an American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE on the NXT brand. He is a second-generation wrestler, the son of Bull Buchanan, a wrestler who worked with WWE in the late 1990s and in the early 2000s. Jensen is a former and the last NXT UK Tag Team Champion alongside Josh Briggs.

Brooks Jensen Early Life

Brooks Jensen’s real name is Benjamin Buchanan. He was born on August 21, 2001, in Ranburne, Alabama, USA. He is the son of the former WWE wrestler Bull Buchanan. The younger Buchanan had been interested in pro wrestling and desired to pursue a career in the sport like his father. He started training professionally at a very young age and made her pro wrestling debut before his 18th birthday.

WWE Career

Benjamin Buchanan made his professional wrestling debut on March 2, 2019. He worked on a few wrestling promotions in Alabama and Georgia over the next year. There, he became a one-time Heavyweight Champion and also won the tag team titles a few times.

In 2021, he was signed to WWE Performance Center. On the September 14, 2021, episode of NXT 2.0, he made his debut under the ring name Brooks Jensen. Then, he was teamed up with a fellow newcomer named Josh Briggs and was pitted against Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser and Marcel Barthel). The two then continued working as a team but failed in the Dusty Rhodes Men Tag Team Tournament and in their pursuits for the NXT Championship.

On June 22, 2023, they made their debut on NXT UK and won a four-way elimination match for the vacant NXT UK Tag Team Championship. This made them the first and only wrestlers of outside Europe to hold the belt. Jensen also became the first wrestler to be born after 2000 to win the title. At Worlds Collide later that year, Pretty Deadly defeated Gallus, Creed Brothers, and Briggs & Jensen to unify the NXT Tag Team and NXT UK Tag Team Championship. Briggs and Jensen are recognized as the last champions in the title’s history.

In 2023, cracks started appearing in the tag team when Brooks Jensen started supporting Kiana James and Briggs sided with Fallon Henley. The fallout between Henley and James also became the reason for the fallout between Briggs and Jensen. However, soon, James left Jensen, causing the latter to reunite with Henley and Briggs.
