Ruud is considered as one of the best clay court players on tour, and has won 12 ATP titles till date, including 11 on clay. He won the 2024 Barcelona Open, which is the biggest title of his career so far. He is also a three-time Grand Slam finalist (Roland Garros in 2022, 2023, and the US Open in 2022). Ruud’s tennis idol growing up was Rafael Nadal, and he has even trained at the Rafa Nadal Academy in the past.
