At ROH Final Battle, he lost the belt back to Castagnoli after 80 days.

Jericho has been rather inactive in 2023. Most recently, he has started teaming up with an unlikely partner in Kenny Omega. The two have come to call themselves The Golden Jets. This partnership has caused the frustration of Omega's friends The Young Bucks. The two teams are all set to compete at Full Gear 2023 where if The Golden Jets win, they will become number 1 contender for the AEW World Tag Team Championship but if The Bucks win, Omega and Jericho will have to part ways.
