Paige Wooding aka Jamie Hayter was born in Southampton, United Kingdom on 23rd April, 1995. She studied at a local school. In the year 2013, Hayter decided to pursue a career in professional wrestling.

Professional Wrestling Career

Early Career

Jamie Hayter started wrestling in 2015

Jamie Hayter made her debut as professional wrestler against Jinny Couture at the SCW First Anniversary Show on 2nd May, 2015, where she lost. She later went onto work with local promotions Ultimate Pro Wrestling, RevPro, Global Force Wrestling, Flemish Wrestling Force, Global Syndicate Wrestling, Southwest Championship Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Pride, Prairie Wrestling Alliance and Princeton Wrestling Club from 2015 to 2017.

In 2017, she briefly worked with Extreme Wrestling Entertainment and Big League Wrestling. In November 2017, Jamie won her first ever wrestling championship by becoming BLW Women's Champion defeating Ayesha Raymond.

World Wonder Ring Stardom

In August 2018, Jamie Hayter made her debut at World Wonder Ring Stardom. She entered the 5Star Grand Prix tournament but lost it by five points. On 3rd January, 2019, Hayter competed with Oedo Tai against JAN where Oedo Tai won. She went on to compete against teams like Star and Queen’s Quest in the later months.

On 30th June, 2019, Jamie defeated Utami Hayashishita and Nina Samuels to become the EVE International Champion. On 19th January, 2020, Hayter and Bea Priestley defeated Tokyo Cyber Squad to win the Goddesses Of Stardom Championship.But due to Covid-19 restrictions, she wasn’t able to defend the title and therefore, it was vacated.

Jamie Hayter appeared once on WWE TV on the 15th May, 2019 episode of NXT UK where she lost to Piper Niven.

AEW

Jamie signed to AEW in 2021

Jamie Hayter made her debut against Britt Baker on 23rd October, 2019, where she lost to Britt. In her second match she and Emi Sakura defeated Riho and Shanna. Later, due to Covid -19 restrictions, Jamie wasn’t able to appear in AEW for more than a year.

She made her return to the promotion involving in a brawl where she helped Britt Baker against Red Velvet and Kris Statlander. Later, it was announced that Hayter had been signed by AEW. On 25th August, 2021, she defeated Red Velvet in one-on-one action.

Hayter then took part in the TBS Championship Tournament and defeated Anna Jay in the first round. In the quarter final of the tournament, she was defeated by Thunder Rosa. She then participated in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament. Hayter defeated Skye Blue in the qualifying match, but failed to win against Toni Storm in the first round.

Hayter was a part of All Out Fatal-4-way match

At All Out, after Thunder Rosa vacated her title due to injury, a Fatal-4-way was announced for the vacant title. In the match, Toni Storm defeated Dr. Britt Baker DMD and Hikaru Shida and Jamie Hayter.

On the 9th November edition of AEW Dynamite, Hayter defeated Skye Blue.
