Josh Briggs (birth name: Joshua Bruns), is a rising American star grappler, better realized by his ring name Josh Briggs. Briggs is now endorsed by WWE and is performing on the NXT brand. He is a one-time NXT UK Tag Team titleholder in his WWE career with Brooks Jensen. Briggs and Jensen are perceived as the last holders of that particular title. He formerly showed up for the wrestling promotion 'EVOLVE' and came out on top for the last Evolve Title.

Josh Briggs was a student at Glendale Community College in Arizona. He played college-level football for the following two years at UMass (UMass Minutemen football).

Josh Brigg’s Professional Wrestling Career

On August 31, 2020, it was officially announced that Briggs had marked an agreement with WWE after the organization's acquisition of EVOLVE in July of the same year. On October 7, WWE declared that Briggs had revealed to preparing at the Performance Center of the WWE along with other five expert grapplers from EVOLVE. On July 6, 2021, Briggs was reported to be a competitor in the 2021 NXT Breakout Competition.

On the July 27 episode of NXT, Briggs was beaten by Carmelo Hayes in the primary round. On the NXT 2.0 on September 14, Briggs teamed up with the debuting star Brooks Jensen. He confronted Imperium, the team of Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel. But eventually lost the match and secured themselves as 'face' character.

On the January 18, 2022, episode of NXT, Briggs and Jensen teamed up to

contend in the Dusty Rhodes Men's Tag Team Classic tournament. They were dispensed with by possible winners the Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus) in the main round. On the April 12 episode of NXT, they partook in a match for the empty NXT Tag Team Title which was a five-team match. However, they failed to win the title.

On the June 22 episode of NXT UK, Briggs, and Jensen participated in a fatal 4-Way elimination game to dominate the empty NXT UK Tag Team Title against Wild Boar, Dave Mastiff, Mark Andrews, Jack Starz, and Die Familie (Rohan Raja and Teoman). This made them the solitary non-European tag team to bring home the championships.
