Lee Johnson is an American Professional Wrestler, who is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling and is known by his nickname “Big Shooty”. He is one of the youngest pro-wrestlers in the company. He is a former member of The Factory Stable with Cole Karter, Nick Comroto, Aaron Solo & QT Marshal.

Professional Wrestling Career

WWA4 (2017-2018)

Lee Johnson started his professional wrestling training in 2017 and was trained by AR Fox & QT Marshall. He made his pro-wrestling debut the same year on November 30, 2017 at WWA4, where he fought in a Three-way match with Deon Murphy & Jaxon Ville and lost. Johnson then formed a tag team alliance with Liam Gray and dubbed themselves as The Culture. On December 7, 2017, Johnson & Gray defeated Ashton Starr and Ryan Rembrandt to win the WWA4 Tag Team Championship. In 2018, Lee Johnson left WWA4 to wrestle for other Independent Circuits.

Independent Wrestling Circuits (2018)

After leaving WWA4, Johnson appeared on various independent circuits throughout the year including CWF Mid-Atlantic, IWA Mid South, FSPW, MLA and so on. He was rarely successful in his Indie run and had more losses than wins.

Southern Honor Wrestling (2018 - 2019)

In 2018, Lee Johnson made his SHW debut by teaming up with David Ali and forming a team named The Shotgun Killers against The Lynch Mob and lost. They then aligned with O’Shay Edwards and Owen Knight forming a team named “The New Era”. Lee participated in the 2019 Rumble Jack Match, where he was unsuccessful. The New Era went for a Three-Way Team War Games Match against Team Fear & Team Lethal Poison but lost.

Other Independent Wrestling Circuits (2019 - 2020)

In October 2019 made his Southern Underground Pro debut and lost to Cody Vance. He then had few sporadic appearances and won a Six Way Match by defeating Aaron Williams, Nolan Edwards, Patrick Heeter, Shawn Dean and Silas Mason. He then appeared on other individual wrestling promotions including Maryland Championship Wrestling, Absolute Intense Wrestling, Grand Pro Wrestling and so on.

All Elite Wrestling (2020 - Present)

In April 7, 2020 Lee Marshall made his AEW debut at AEW Dark #28 against his trainer QT Marshall and lost. The following night, he fought against Brodie Lee in AEW Dynamite and lost. Lee Johnson was constantly booked on a losing cause against MJF, Colt Cabana, Brian Cage, Shaun Spears, Rey Fenix, Matt Sydall and others. As trained from the Nightmare Factory, he became a part of The Nightmare Family. He had his first win AEW in February 2021 at Dynamite #72 teamed up with Cody Rhodes dubbed as The Nightmare Family and defeated Cezar Bononi and Peter Avalon. Following which Lee Johnson officially signed a contract with AEW.

After joining The Nightmare Family and signing a contract with AEW, he started appearing regularly on AEW Dark and AEW Dynamite. He also started progressing in his wrestling career with some of the regular wins. He participated in the 2021 Casino Battle Royale but was unsuccessful. The Nightmare Family then went on a long term feud with The Factory and ended the feud in June 2021, by defeating them by teaming with Dustin Rhodes. Dustin Rhodes and Lee Johnson then started teaming up and had a number of tag team matches.

After the Nightmare Family was disbanded, he started teaming up with Brock Anderson & Lee Johns participated in the #1 Contenders Tag Team Casino Battle Royale, but was won by The Young Bucks. In November 2022, Lee Johnson aligned himself with The Factory and became an internal part of the stable. He then had pursuits for All-Atlantic Championship, ROH Six Man Tag Team Championship, ROH World Championship and World Trios Championship but was unsuccessful.
