Markéta Vondroušová turned professional in 2014 and won her first professional title in the doubles event at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in March 2015. Her WTA Tour main draw doubles debut came at home in the Prague Open in April 2015, where she lost the match with partner Kateřina Vaňková.
