Early Life and Career
Mayra Bueno Silva is from Uberlandia and she has lived and trained in gyms in Campinas and São Paulo. In 2016, she began her professional mixed martial arts career and won all three of her fights on the regional Brazilian scene. During this time, she also won the Batalha MMA Bantamweight title. After her successful performance, she was invited to participate in Dana White's Contender Series Brazil 1. She quickly defeated Mayana Souza dos Santos in the first round with a ninja choke and earned a contract with the UFC.
