Michael Gerard Tyson, who also goes by his moniker ‘Iron Mike,’ is a former heavyweight champion from America considered to be one of the greatest to ever step into the Squared Circle. Tyson was known for his aggressive boxing style in and out of the ring and often had controversies before and after the fights. Starting his professional boxing career in 1985, ‘Iron Mike’ holds a record of 50 wins, six losses, and two no contests (50-7-2). He is the youngest-ever champion in the heavyweight division at 20 and was undefeated until he was 23 years old.

Over the years, Mike Tyson has had numerous accolades in his boxing career, which includes WBC, WBA, IBF, and The Ring heavyweight titles to his name. After twenty years of a boxing career, Tyson announced his retirement from professional boxing in 2005, ending a controversial and highly exceptional career. He returned to the squared circle coming out of retirement to take on Jake Paul in a professional boxing bout in November 2024.

However, Tyson did not have a normal and easy life growing up. His family lived in Bed-Stuy until they could afford to move to Brownsville when Tyson was around 10 years old.
