Early Life and Career
Nassourdin Abdoulazimovitch Imavov was born on March 1, 1995, in Dagestan, Russia, and later moved to France when he was nine. Imavov started boxing when he moved from Dagestan to Salon De Provence.
At the age of 19, Imavov was introduced to MMA and later moved to Paris with his brother to take a step ahead in the mixed martial arts career at Fernandez Lopez’s MMA Factory.
Before signing with the UFC, Nassourdine Imavov started his MMA career in 2016. He was on a five-win streak before his debut fight in the UFC.
On September 28, 2019, Imavov won the Thunderstrike Fight League 18 welterweight championship against Mateusz Gluch and won the fight by submitting Gluch via kimura.

Imavov made his Octagon debut on October 4, 2020, for UFC on ESPN: Holm vs. Aldana against Jordan Williams in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and won the fight via decision.
