Badosa started her tennis career by competing at the Club Tennis d'Aro (Platja d'Aro). She played her first ITF junior circuit tournament when she was 14 and is a former No. 8 in the junior category. She lifted her maiden junior singles title at the 2014 Grade-1 Mediterranee Avenir in Casablanca.
