Petra Kvitova is a professional tennis player from the Czech Republic who achieved a career-high singles ranking of No. 2 in October 2011. A Wimbledon veteran, Petra Kvitova was born on March 8, 1990 in Bílovec, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic). Her first moment of recognition came when she beat former No.1 Dinara Safina at the 2009 US Open. Consequently, her best year came in 2011 when she won Wimbledon, the Year End Finals as well as the Fed Cup.
