One of the top-ranked Chinese players, Qinwen Zheng, has earned fame worldwide with her performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Qinwen Zheng Early Life
Born in Shiyan, Hubei, China, Zheng used to live at her maternal grandmother's house located in Chengdu, Sichuan. She started her tennis journey at the age of seven. At the age of eight, she moved to Wuhan to hone her tennis skills. Three years later, she shifted to Beijing with Carlos Rodriquez. Zheng made her WTA debut at the 2021 Palermo Open, where she registered her first win by defeating Liudmila Samsonova. She registered her first top-20 win, defeating Simona Halep at the 2022 French Open.
