Rena Marlette Lesnar is an American actor, model, and retired professional wrestler. She is best known for her work with WWE as Sable. She is a former Women's Champion.
Personal life
Rena Marlette Lesnar aka Sable was born on August 8, 1968, in Jacksonville, Florida. Sable was interested in sports such as gymnastics, horseback riding, and softball from a very young age. Having won her first beauty pageant at 12, Sable transitioned into modeling by the early 1990s and worked alongside big companies like L'Oréal and Pepsi.
Sable married Wayne W. Richardson in 1987 and had a daughter named Mariah. However, her husband died in a car accident four years later. She married Marc Mero in 1994. Mero was a renowned pro-wrestler. After meeting Mero, Sable broke into the pro-wrestling business and made a name for herself. The couple divorced in 2004 and she got engaged with well-known WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar in late 2004. The two called off their engagement in early 2005 but engaged again in early 2006 and finally married in May that year. Lesnar and Sable have two sons namely Turk (born June 3, 2009) and Duke (born July 21, 2010).
Professional Wrestling Career
WWF (1996-1999)
Sable made her WWF debut at WrestleMania XII. She started working with the company along with her real-life husband Marc Mero. She remained his manager until he was injured and took some time off.
After Mero's injury, Sable rose to popularity by breaking out as a singles competitor. After Mero's return, she briefly feuded with him and ended the rivalry by kicking him in the groin. At SummerSlam, Sable and Edge defeated Jacqueline and Mero in a mixed tag team match.
At Survivor Series, she defeated Jacqueline to win the WWF Women's Championship. After winning the title and starting in a movie, Sable turned heel and started defending her title on rare occasions. She defeated Tori at WrestleMania. She lost the title to Debra in an Evening Gown match.
Post-WWF (1999-2001)
After quitting WWF, she sued the company for sexual allegations. They settled the matter privately. She was on the cover of Playboy and debuted at WCW. She made several television appearances during her time away from WWF.
WWE (2003-2004)
Sable returned to WWE and began a storyline with Vince McMahon. Sable reignited her rivalry with Tori Wilson and lost in a bikini contest. After losing to Tori, Sable began her feud with Stephanie McMahon. At Vengeance, Sable defeated Stephanie. At No Mercy, she assisted Vince during his match with Stephanie in an "I Quit" match.
In 2004, she appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine. She began teaming up with Tori Wilson to take on Stacy Keibler and Miss Jackie. At WrestleMania XX, the duo defeated Keibler and Jackie. After WrestleMania XX, she again turned on Tori Wilson. At The Great American Bash, Sable defeated Wilson. In 2004, she departed with the company.

She accompanied Brock Lesnar during his matches in NJPW.
