Stevie Turner launched her wrestling career in UK Independent promotions as Bobbi Tyler after receiving training under the guidance of British wrestler Paul Ashe. She debuted at Ultimate British Wrestling (UBW) on June 11, 2016, in a tag team match with Casey Danger, losing to Jayde & Kruiz. Just two days later, she secured her first singles victory against Major Lee Rotten as per Cagematch. After competing against several opponents, she secured her first championship, the PWP Catch Division Title with Pro Wrestling Pride, on January 1, 2017, by defeating Kelly Sixx. However, she lost the title to Josh Knott the very next day.
On February 12, 2017, Tyler captured the PWP Women's Championship for the first time by defeating Nadia Sapphire as per Cagematch. She later claimed the KWE Medial Championship in a gauntlet match against 12 other female wrestlers. Tyler held the PWP Women's title for 167 days before losing it to Angelina Love during her sixth title defense on July 29, 2017. However, the next day, she reclaimed the championship for a second time in a thrilling triple-threat match against Angelina Love and Laura James.
On October 28, 2017, Tyler lost her KWE Media Championship to Karl Atlas after a 238-day reign. She also suffered consecutive defeats in her bids to capture the vacant APEX Women's Title against Jayde, as well as in her attempts to win the British Empire Women's Title, RevPro Undisputed British Women's Title, and the Queen of Southside Title. On September 9, 2019, she finally grabbed the IPW Women's Title from current TNA superstar Xia Brookside. Unfortunately, she lost this title to Sierra Loxton during her first defense in December of the same year.
Tyler made her much-anticipated return to the UK independent wrestling scene at Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro) after competing in Japan's Stardom Promotion. Though she lost her comeback match to Jamie Hayter, she quickly bounced back, becoming the number one contender for the IPW Women's Title. On April 5, 2019, she reclaimed the championship by defeating Sonya Strong but soon lost it to Harley Rae in a thrilling three-way match. In addition, she later added to her accomplishments by claiming championship titles in both House of Glory and Ultimate Pro Wrestling.
World Wonder Ring Stardom (Stardom)
While competing in the UK independent wrestling scene, Stevie Turner debuted in Stardom as Bobbi Tyler on January 1, 2019, teaming with Hana Kimura and Jamie Hayter to achieve a victory over Oedo Tai. Although she was defeated by Jamie Hayter in her singles debut, she quickly regained momentum, securing wins over Hanan, Alex Gracia, and several others. Her winning streak eventually earned her a shot at the SWA Undisputed World Women's Championship against Utami Hayashishita but ultimately lost.
On June 2, 2019, Bobbi Tyler became a key member of Tokyo Cyber Squad (TCS), alongside Hana Kimura, Jungle Kyona, Zoe Lucas, Konami, Rina, Ruaka, and DEATH Yama-san. The group initially feuded with Queen's Quest, winning two decisive matches. Afterward, they unsuccessfully challenged STARS for the Artist of Stardom Title. Tyler's final Stardom appearance came with the TCS during the 2019 Goddesses of Stardom Tag League, where they claimed a victory over Oedo Tai in the Blue Goddess Block.
