Tim "Red Hawk" Welch is a retired MMA fighter with a professional MMA record of 14-6 who appeared on TUF 22. Tim welch holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is the owner of TW BJJ MMA and the co-host of The Timbo & Sugarshow podcast with Sean o' Malley.

Tim Welch started his professional MMA journey in 2009 at CageSport 7 against William Hunt. He won the fight in the second round via submission(punches) but lost his next bout against Derek Boyle at RITR 13 via third-round KO(kick).
Tim won his next 2-fights at CageSport against Dennis Parks and Jose Rico. He next fought at Playboy Fight Night 5 against Derek Boyle in a rematch. Just like the first bout, Welch came up short in the fight as he lost via split decision.
Welch bounced back from the Boyle defeat and won on a 3-fight win streak before fighting Eddy Ellis at CageSport 14. Tim got out grappled in the fight and got submitted in the first round via rear-naked choke submission.
Tim again went on a 3-fight win streak before debuting at Bellator 74 against Michail Tsarev. Welch lost to Tsarev in the second round via submission(rear-naked choke). He next defeated Eric Regan at ICF: Fight Night 1 before fighting at Bellator 113 against Derek Campos. Welch was outclassed by Campos and lost via unanimous decision.
Welch went 2-0 in his next fights before getting an opportunity in the UFC as a fighter on the Ultimate Fighter 22. Welch lost his elimination fight against Jason Gonzalez via second-round TKO(punches).
He bounced back from the loss and won his next 2-fights before losing to Dejan Kajic at ICF 28. Tim Welch has been inactive since his defeat against Dejan Kajic and instead opened the TWCG.
