Patrick Clark Jr. is an American professional wrestler best known for his work with WWE. He is a former WWE North American Champion.

Professional Wrestling Career

WWE (2014-2020)

Early Years (2014-2017)

Before signing with WWE, Clark worked for MCW, CZW, and WXW. In 2015, Clark took part in the sixth season of Tough Enough. After the show, he signed a deal with WWE and began training. In 2016, Clark began working with NXT and performed at house shows and live events.

Velveteen Dream (2017-2021)

In 2017, Clark debuted with a new character called Velveteen Dream. At NXT TakeOver WarGames, Aleister Black defeated him and became a fan favorite. At NXT TakeOver Philadelphia, he defeated Kassius Ohno.

In 2018, he tried to capture NXT and North American Championship but failed frequently. In 2019, he won the World's Collide tournament and faced the North American Champion. In February, he defeated Johnny Gargano to win the North American Championship.

After 231 days of defending the championship against several superstars, Dream lost the title to Roderick Strong on NXT. Dream took a five-month of hiatus and returned in 2020. After his return, he feuded with the Undisputed Era.

At TakeOver: In Your House, Dream lost to Adam Cole. Dream lost at TakeOver XXX and 31 before being written off the television. In his last televised match, he lost to Adam Cole. In 2021, they released him from his contract.
