About Denver Broncos

Founded in 1959 the Denver Broncos were part of the original members of the American Football League. The Broncos never performed very well until the 1970 NFL-AFL merger. They appeared in their first playoffs in 1977 and even made it till the Super Bowl. Legendary players such as John Elway took the Broncos to great heights in the 1980s. Donning their iconic orange jersey, the Broncos are considered as a successful NFL franchise, although they have missed NFL Playoff action since 2016. The Denver Broncos franchise was acquired by the Walter-Penner family (headed by Rob Walton) in 2022 for $4.65 billion. The new ownership was announced to the Denver community before the 2022 NFL season. Currently the team is generating revenue of around $526 million per year as per Forbes.

Denver Broncos Roster 2023-24

Quarterback Russell Wilson and cornerback Patrick Surtain II will be vital players for the Denver Broncos in the upcoming NFL season. Wilson will have to bounce back from probably the worst season in his career (2022-23) to make an impact for the Denver Broncos and really show what he offers as one of the best dual threat quarterbacks in the league. The Broncos have some talented rookie acquisitions going for them in the 2023 NFL draft class. Marvin Mims Jr. stands out in Denver's class for his explosive skills as a WR, while the rest of their picks also offer great value. Drew Sanders, a Round 3 acquisition, brings versatility and pass-rushing talent as an LB. Additionally, the Broncos added cornerback Riley Moss, an athletic ball hawk, and safety JL Skinner, a formidable 6'4" defender with aggression.
