Glasgow Giants

The Glasgow Giants (GG) will be featuring in the first edition of the Euro T20 Slam. GG is one of the two franchisees of the Scotland region in the competition. The team will be one of the six teams that will be playing the league stages of the tournament.

The Giants will be participating in the second game on the opening day of the first ever edition of the league. They have two of their games in Amsterdam, three in Edinburgh and the remaining five in Malahide. Like every other team in the competition, the Giants have 9 local players. International stars like Brendon McCullum and Dale Steyn were announced as their icon and marquee players. However, McCullum has retired from all forms of cricket and will no longer will a freelance T20 cricketer.

Excluding them, they have five international players and one supplementary cricketer in their squad. They will face the Belfast Titans in their opening game on 30 August 2019 at Amsterdam at 8 PM IST.
