Anisimova won her first WTA 1000 title at the 2025 Qatar Open, defeating Jelena Ostaopenko by 6-4, 6-3. She reached the quarterfinals of the 2025 Hobart International, losing to Elina Avanesyan.

"When I was little, she was playing tennis. I always saw her playing, and I wanted to do it too. That's how I got into it, and my parents got into it too."

When Amanda was a kid, her family relocated to Florida so that Amanda and Maria would have more chances to pursue their careers with better coaching. When she was a junior, her father served as her main coach; her mother also assisted in her coaching.
