Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Beatriz Haddad Maia is a Brazilian professional tennis player, who is ranked No. 17 by the the WTA as of January 2025. She is one of the most successful women's tennis players from Brazil. She reached the final of the Australian Open in doubles, in 2022, becoming the only the third Brazilian woman in a final of a Grand Slam tournament.

Beatriz Haddad Maia has won four singles, and seven doubles titles in her career so far, and achieved her career-high singles of No. 10 in June 2023. She is the first woman player from Brazil, who reach the top 10 in WTA rankings. Her best Grand Slam result came in the 2023 French Open when she advanced to the semifinals. She registered a win against Caroline Wozniacki in the fourth round of the 2024 US Open to advance to the quarterfinals.

Haddad Maia defeated Daria Kasatkina to win her fourth WTA title at the 2024 Korea Open (4-6, 6-4, 6-1). In the 2024 Ningbo Open, she made it to the quarterfinals before losing to Paula Badosa. At the 2025 Brisbane International finals, she and Laura Siegemund lost to the Guo Hanyu and Alexandra Panova team.

According to the WTA website, Beatriz Haddad Maia has won over $7,608,022 in tennis prize money, as of beginning of 2025. She reached the quarterfinal of the 2024 Madrid Open, where she lost to Iga Swiatek.
