Coco Gauff enjoyed the biggest win of the season by winning her maiden 2024 WTA Finals, defeating Qinwen Zheng in the final. She recovered from a set deficit and defeated Zheng by 3-6, 6-4, 7-6. Gauff defeated No. 1 Sabalenka in the semifinals and No. 2 Swiatek in the group stage, thus becoming the youngest player since Kim Clijsters in 2002 to defeat both the World No. 1 and No. 2 at the WTA Finals.

Post winning the WTA Finals, she finished as a semifinalist at the 2024 Wuhan Open, losing to Sabalenka. Hiring Matt Daly as her new coach, she lifted the trophy of her second WTA 1000 title at the 2024 China Open, defeating Karolina Muchova in the final.

Currently ranked No. 3 (as of November 2024) in singles by WTA, Gauff has won nine singles titles in her career, including the 2023 Cincinnati Open. These on-court achievements make her one of the most marketable female athletes in the world. She was selected by the United States Olympic Committee to be one of the country's flag bearers at the opening ceremony alongside LeBron James.

Her best grand slam performances include winning the 2023 US Open defeating Sabalenka in the final. This victory also made Gauff the first American teenager to win the US Open since Serena Williams in 1999. Her other Grand Slam records include finishing finalist and semifinalist at the 2022 French Open and the 2024 Australian Open.

Besides singles, she is an accomplished doubles player and achieved the career-high ranking of World No. 1 with Jessica Pegula in October 2023 after qualifying for the 2023 WTA Finals. Gauff, along with Pegula, won the 2023 Miami Open doubles title and became the first all-American duo to do so in 22 years. She has won nine doubles titles to date.

Gauff has sponsorship deals with New Balance, Head, Baker Tilly, UPS, and Bose headphones. But her partnership with New Balance is special because she is the only women’s tennis player to have her own signature shoe.
